Danielle Hoffman, Licensed Master Esthetician & Owner
With a love for holistic skin wellness and advanced skin treatments, Danielle puts care into each and every treatment she performs. After working in the medical field as a medical assistant, for almost 10 years, in 2013 she decided to pursue a career in aesthetics. She has always enjoyed making others feel comfortable which made the change in career a no brainer.
Danielle is continually advancing her education, skills, and techniques. In 2016 she earned her Master Esthetician license, and since has taken numerous certification courses. Providing professional skin care treatments and products, she is a Nova Pro Partner with Nova Wax, Dermaplane Pro certified, a Face Reality Acne Expert, a certified lash and brow stylist through Elleebana Direct, a POMP Pro Esthetician, certified in microneedling, a member of the Nutritional Aesthetics Alliance and currently enrolled in the Certified Nutritional Aesthetics Practitioner program, to name a few.
While in school for her master esthetic licensing, Danielle worked as a top level wax specialist and trainer for a franchise waxing center. Waxing has since become one of her favorite services to perform. Her services are not limited to waxing though. Her passion for skin wellness lead her to opening her own studio, Renew Skin Studio, in La Plata during the Fall of 2022. It is here that she is able to treat each and every client's skin care and hair removal concerns.
When it comes to facials, a custom skincare treatment is what you will expect from your time with Danielle. She believes each person's skin health should be treated uniquely and that skincare starts from within. While she aims to makes each facial a treatment based service, she also wants each client to feel relaxed and pampered.
Mckenzie Bishard, Licensed Esthetician
Originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, McKenzie began her career in the medical field, working alongside several medical specialists. After relocating to Southern Maryland, she continued her work in healthcare, where she was introduced to the aesthetics industry while working in a medical spa. That experience sparked her passion for skincare and advanced treatments, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in aesthetics.
Encouraged by both her professional background and a strong relationship with her personal esthetician, McKenzie enrolled in esthetician school and is a recent graduate of Pro+ Skin Academy. There, she built a strong foundation in skin health, customized treatment planning, and professional skincare practices.
McKenzie believes skincare should be personalized, results-driven, and rooted in overall skin wellness. She is passionate about creating customized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique goals while still providing a relaxing, rejuvenating experience in the treatment room.
At Renew Skin & Wellness, McKenzie is focused on building meaningful relationships with her clients, growing her clientele, and confidently applying the techniques and knowledge she gained in school. She is committed to continued education and staying current with advancements in the industry.
Long-term, McKenzie hopes to expand her expertise in advanced skincare and eventually specialize in comprehensive bridal skin preparation — guiding clients through every stage of their journey to feeling confident in their skin.
Outside of the treatment room, McKenzie enjoys coastal living in SoMD with her husband, their German Shepherd, and three cats. She’s happiest near the water and enjoys traveling, shopping at TJ Maxx, and spending quality time with family.
